TODAY UNESCO online meeting: How does Africa envision COVID-19 and its aftermath?
In its role as laboratory of ideas and capacity-builder, UNESCO aims to contribute to the understanding of the socio-cultural dimensions of the COVID-19 health crisis and its impact on the future of societies.
You are invited to follow an intellectual debate today Thursday, 7 May 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (GMT+2), in the presence of Ms Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO, Mr Kwesi Quartey, Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission and African intellectuals with a prominent role in African society and culture, around the major current and future challenges of COVID-19 for Africa.
This event organized by UNESCO, takes place within the framework of Priority Africa and the “UNESCO Forum” initiative, which aims to strengthen UNESCO’s role as a laboratory of ideas.
