The AWA Programme of the West Africa hub of the ACP-EU Culture Programme is holding its first summer school in Lomé, Togo from 23 September to 2 October 2021 under the theme “Building a Successful Cultural Ecosystem for a Resilient West Africa”.
Organised under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Kossi Gbényo Lamadokou, Minister of Culture and Tourism and by the Heinrich Klose consortium and the Institut Kôrè des Arts et métiers du Togo (Ikam – Togo), this activity will bring together 15 cultural organisations from 11 West African countries, winners of the first call for proposals of the Fund for the structuring of cultural operators.
The programme includes a seminar on “The adaptability potential of the cultural and creative sector in West Africa”, training workshops and several networking activities and professional visits.
