The Mobile Film Festival 2023 is officially open!

The Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and the European Union, through the ACP-EU Culture Programme, are privileged to be associated with the second edition of the Mobile Film Festival, which will be held online from 3 to 31 May 2023, and will conclude with an award ceremony in Rabat (Morocco) on 8 June 2023.

This year, the festival continues to follow its preferred format; 1 mobile phone, 1 minute, 1 film. In addition, there are nine prizes up for grabs, along with production grants of up to USD 46,000!

On 14 February 2023, the festival organisers opened a call for entries inviting young talents from the African continent to submit one or more one-minute films shot and edited on mobile phones. Films can be submitted until 4 April 2023.
