Our Caribbean Hub issues 2nd call for proposals to aid cultural and creative professionals

Caribbean operators (individuals and organisations) working in the cultural and creative industries (CCIs) can now apply for the second phase of the ACP-EU Culture’s Creative Caribbean programme. The programme is available in all 15 ACP Caribbean countries.

The second round of the grant programme now offers three types of grants: industry grants, enabling environment grants and training grants.

The objective of this project is to generate research and data that can be used to improve regional policies and legislation related to the creative and cultural industry. In addition, the project will facilitate capacity building activities aimed at promoting the growth of various CCI sub-sectors throughout the Caribbean. The entities/categories of persons eligible for this project are:

  • CCI actors, artists and entrepreneurs, especially youth and mid-career individuals.
  • CCI professional organisations, associations, collectives, guilds, civil society organisations and registered groups.
  • Teachers, students and researchers in secondary and higher education institutions.

The countries targeted by this action are the following: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago.
