Ouaga Film Lab 2023: The festival unveils the selection for its 8th edition

The Ouaga Film Lab has just revealed the list of projects selected for its 8th edition, to be held from 18 to 24 September 2023 in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso).

After reviewing more than a hundred entries from across Africa during the call for projects, the selection committee chose ten projects to continue the adventure. These included six documentaries and four dramas from Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal, South Africa and Tunisia. It should also be noted that 55% of the participants are women.
