Fonds Images de la Francophonie : call for projects (Documentaries/series) : application deadline 1-15/6/2020

This call for projects concerns the Documentaries / Series commission of the Fonds Image de la Francophonie whose second selection meeting in 2020 will take place in September. As in the previous call launched in December 2019, the submission of proposals follows different rules according to the geographical areas and the types of assistance requested:
– the “general scheme” (“classic” production aid or finishing aid for projects which have not received production aid) applies to all 37 French-speaking countries in the South eligible for the fund ;
– development aid can also be granted, but only for a group of 14 countries with low per capita income (according to the World Bank classification);
– finishing aid may be added to production aid already granted, but only for this same group of 14 countries;
– finally, within the framework of the “Clap ACP” project, an “ACP bonus” representing twice the aid granted from the OIF budget, may be added for projects from countries belonging to the Organization of ACP States (Africa , Caribbean, Pacific) but only if these projects implement a co-production between three partners, two of which belong to different ACP countries.
All the details on the rules of the Fonds Image de la Francophonie, the implementation of the Clap ACP project and the procedure for submitting files are available under this link.
The next call for projects on short and feature fiction films will be launched in the coming weeks and will lead to applications being submitted between June 15 and 30.
The Clap ACP project is led by the OIF as part of the Fonds Image de la Francophonie and in partnership with FONSIC. It receives financial aid from the European Union and support from the Organization of ACP States, within the framework of the ACP-EU Culture programme.
