Following a first call for projects launched last June, Documentary Africa (DocA) has just announced the winners who will participate in the ACP DOConnect programme. A total of nine filmmakers from ACP countries will follow a year-long mentoring programme that will put them in touch with a dozen handpicked ACP producers, with the aim of forging solid co-production partnerships.
Thanks to the support of DocA and its experts, the beneficiaries will be supported in the maturation of their project, the constitution of their production file and the search for international financing.
The call for projects will allow the selection of nine documentary projects (feature-length and medium-length films and series) by filmmakers and production companies from ACP countries wishing to develop them ambitiously in the framework of international co-productions.
