Discover Naforo Ba and the arts of orality

Naforo Ba is an association of professionals promoting storytelling and oral arts in Côte d’Ivoire. Through the “Elan” initiative, it intends to stimulate a new cultural dynamic in the sector in West Africa, for the benefit of cultural operators.

Thanks to the ACP-EU Culture-AWA structuring fund, Elan aims to :

enhance and perpetuate the oral cultural heritage through the use of digital tools
participate in strengthening the artistic, technical and management capacities of artists for a sustainable professional, social and economic development;
to ensure the visibility of artists in the sector and to support the production and distribution of works for a better economic return.
