Deental ACP: Workshop for ACP authors and producers of series

Within the framework of the Séries Mania festival, the DEENTAL co-production fund is organising DEENTAL Séries Workshop, a specific programme dedicated to authors and producers of series from ACP countries.

Through a call for applications, 4 ACP writer-producer pairs will be selected to participate in Lille, from 17 to 24 March 2022.

In a first step, the selected projects will participate in a training workshop from 17 to 21 March 2022. During this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to meet and be monitored by experienced professionals. They will attend workshops, masterclasses and individual sessions to develop their project series with their mentors. From 22 to 24 March 2022, the project leaders will participate in the Séries Mania Forum and meet with accredited professionals. The Séries Mania and CNC teams will organise a dedicated programme (networking, pitch session/presentation of selected projects as well as meetings with professionals present at Séries Mania (broadcasters, producers and distributors potentially interested…).

Call for applications

The programme is open to feature film producers who:

• are nationals of an ACP country,
• are able to exchange in English in a professional context,
• have a fiction series project in English or French,
• seeking international financial partners or co-producers.

The application deadline for the programme is 20 December 2021.
