Creative Caribbean to launch its 1st call for projects
With a view to supporting the competitiveness of the Caribbean cultural and creative industries, our regional hub – ACP-EU Culture/Creative Caribbean – is launching its first call for projects on Thursday 21 April.
In this context, our implementing partners, namely UNESCO, CARICOM, and the University of the West Indies, are organising a virtual launch event via Zoom from 11am to 1pm (Jamaica time).
As a reminder, Creative Caribbean provides grants to creative and cultural professionals to develop more globally competitive businesses and enhance their professional development. Support will also be provided to strengthen the enabling environment for a strong creative ecosystem in the region, as the creative and cultural industries are seen as a catalyst for sustainable development.
