Creative Caribbean project awards grants to 25 organisations in the region

Creative Caribbean: An Ecosystem of “Play” for growth and development has just announced the list of 25 winners of its first funding cycle. The program aims to improve the economic conditions of creators to stimulate sustainable growth of the creative and cultural industries (CCI) in the Caribbean.
After the selection process, grants – totaling USD 1,028,287.22 – were awarded to implement projects, thanks to the contribution of the ACP-EU Culture program.
The second call for grants is now open since the beginning of April. Creatives from the region can apply in the following three categories: industry grants, environmental grants, and training grants.
Eligible countries for this grant program are Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.
