Central Africa: Results of the evaluation of the 2nd call for proposals

The ACP-EU CULTURE programme – Créer en Afrique Centrale, has announced the results of the evaluation of its second call for proposals.
Of the 65 applications submitted, 32 proposals complied with the eligibility criteria and were therefore assessed by the Créer en Afrique Centrale Project Steering Committee.
At the end of the assessment process, 14 projects have been selected for the award of the grants:
- Patrimoines-Héritage, coordinated by Bandjoun Film Studio, Cameroon, in partnership with KOUDOUGOU Doc-Association, Burkina Faso, and AFRICLAP, France.
- Tuendelee Pamoja, coordinated by Groupe TACCEMS Asbl, Democratic Republic of Congo, in partnership with La voix de la Jeunesse de l’Ituri, Democratic Republic of Congo, SIKILIK’AFRIKA ASBL, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Troupe Pili Pili, Burundi.
- Développement et promotion du Jazz en RDC et Afrique centrale, coordinated by JAZZKIF Founders, JKF ASBL, Democratic Republic of Congo, in partnership with Cafe Music Smile ONG, Democratic Republic of Congo.
- Mise en place de mini-labs numériques au sein des établissements scolaires, coordinated by Société d’Incubation Numérique du Gabon (SING SA), Gabon, in partnership with XR Pedagogy, France, and JETRONIC, Gabon.
- ICDRURAL, coordinated by Casa de Cultura de Baloeri de Cristo Rey, Republic of Equatorial Guinea, in partnership with Asociación Cultura Bubi Castilla La Mancha, Spain.
- Académie panafricaine du Stand Up, coordinated by Africa Stand Up Productions SARL (ASUP), Cameroon, in partnership with Institut Français du Tchad, Chad.
- Cine Y Desarollo Humano Sostenible CYDUS, coordinated by ONG JOSAFRICA de Guinea Ecuatorial (Jovenes Solidarios con Africa De Guinea Ecuatorial), Republic of Equatorial Guinea, in partnership with Asociación Cultura Bubi Castilla La Mancha, Spain.
- Africa Cantat 2023, coordinated by Amis du Chœur Madrigal du Cameroun (ACMC), Cameroon, in partnership with Confédération Africaine de Musique Chorale (CAMC), Senegal, International Federation for Choral Music, Portugal, European Choral Association, Germany, and A Cœur Joie International (ACJI), France.
- Les AUNTIES, coordinated by Chad Art For World, Chad, in partnership with Scène d’Ébène, Cameroon.
- Cameroonian Cultural Network, coordinated by Centre de lecture et d’animation culturelle de Yaoundé (CLAC), Cameroon, in partnership with Goethe-Institut Cameroon, Institut Français du Cameroun, and Centre international pour le patrimoine culturel et artistique (CIPCA), Cameroon.
- Urban Art 4 Youth, coordinated by Grand Slam National, Cameroon, in partnership with Tchad Plus, Chad, and Coupe d’Afrique de Slam Poésie (CASP), Cameroon.
- La route de l’artiste en Afrique centrale, coordinated by Espace Culturel Yaro, Republic of Congo, in partnership with Our Children Our Future, Cameroon, and Reseau Culturel Et Artistique pour La Formation et la Francophonie (RECAF), Chad.
- De l’idée à la scène, coordinated by Association Tchad Plus, Chad, in partnership with Voice4thought, Netherlands, and Association Hakili So, Mali.
- CAMPUS CINÉ 3.0, coordinated by Association Camerounaise Interuniversitaire de Recherche en Cinéma (ACIREC), Cameroon, in partnership with Ministère des Arts et de la Culture – Direction nationale de la cinématographie du Cameroun, Cameroon.
During the implementation of the selected projects, Créer en Afrique Centrale will carry out a wide range of activities to support the grant beneficiaries, develop their professional skills and networking capacities.
