Under the new ACP-EU CULTURE program, several actions and tools have been planned for the creative sector, including 3 calls for projects totaling a budget of EUR 36 million.
The first call to support audiovisual co-production in the ACP countries has recently been closed. With a budget of EUR 6 million, it allows to finance audiovisual co-productions in addition to co-financing from existing European, ACP or other partner countries’ Funds, specialized in supporting the audiovisual sector.
The three beneficiary organizations are the Kulturveranstaltungen des Bundes in Berlin (KBB) GmbH (www.berlinale-worldcinemafund.de), Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, OIF (www.francophonie.org) and Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée, CNC (www.cnc.fr).
The programme’s grants will be integrated into three co-production funds: World Cinema Fund ACP (KBB), Clap ACP (OIF) and DEENTAL (CNC).
