Meeting of the beneficiaries of the call for proposals “Support for ACP audiovisual co-production” (Brussels, 11/2/2020)

On 11th February, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the Secretariat of the ACP Group of States between the representatives of the three organizations benefiting from the call for proposals “Support for ACP audiovisual co-production”, the ACP Secretariat, the European Commission and of the Technical Assistance Unit to the ACP-EU Culture program. Welcomed by HE Léonard-Emile Ognimba, Assistant Secretary General (ACP Secretariat) and Giorgio Ficarelli (European Commission), Vincenzo Bugno (World Cinema Fund – Kulturveranstaltungen des Bundes in Berlin), Magalie Armand (Fond Deental – Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée), Pierre Barrot (CLAP ACP Fund – Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie) and Mamidou Diakité-Coulibaly (Fonds de Soutien à l’Industrie Cinématographique – FONSIC, OIF partner) had the opportunity to present their projects and to detail the co-production mechanisms created or reinforced thanks to the support of the ACP-EU Culture programme. During the meeting, participants were also able to discuss many aspects related to the implementation of sub-granting calls intended to support ACP audiovisual co-production.
